Girl Scouts Program
Girl Scouts is a program that provides an accepting and nurturing environment for young girls. Girl Scouts builds character and skills for success in the real world. Girl Scouts develops qualities that will serve girls all their lives, like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. The below pictures include the visit to the state capital to participate in the “Government” badge, painting and gardening last spring, horseback riding at the camp last spring, and participation in “Girls in Aviation Day” held this year in Topeka.
Boy Scouts Program
The Boys Scout program has three specific objectives, commonly referred to as the “Aims of Scouting”. These objectives are character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. The Boy Scout program encourages boys to learn and practice leadership skills. The steps in the advancement system help a Boy Scout grow in self-reliance and ability to help others. Boy scouts also emphasizes consistency and dedication.
